include mammography, ultrasound, MRI (open), spiral angio CT
and colour-coded duplex sonography.
The selected therapy - amputation of the breast, breast
reconstruction and rehabilitation option – focuses foremost
on the patient’s safety while being as gentle as possible.
Psychooncologic care, aesthetic breast surgery and adjuvant
therapies are of great importance.
Treatments can be carried out through collaboration with
specialists of cosmetic surgery.
Specialized Breast Centres are available in the
Knappschaftskrankenhaus Dortmund and in the Marien-Hospital
Witten.
